LONDON'S WIFE GRANTED RESTRAINING ORDER
Actor JEREMY LONDON's estranged wife MELISSA CUNNINGHAM has taken out a restraining order against the star - accusing him of lashing out at her in violent, drug-fuelled attacks.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered the former 7th Heaven star to stay at least 100 yards (91 meters) away from Melissa, 37, and her home, reports the National Enquirer.
According to court documents filed last month (Aug08), Cunningham alleges: "I am afraid for my safety and the safety of our son", and reportedly recounts an incident when London broke her nose in a violent brawl. She adds that he "jumped up and knocked me around. He kicked me in the stomach with our son in my arms."
The 35-year-old actor was slapped with a restraining order in 2004 after he was arrested for allegedly throwing his wife out of his car at the side of a California freeway.
A source adds of the star's alleged drug-fuelled behaviour: "Jeremy is stable when he's not high, but when he goes off on one of his drug and alcohol binges, he turns into a violent madman."
The couple married in September 2006 and Cunningham is reportedly asking for sole custody of their 19-month-old son, Lyrik.
Their spokespersons have each declined to comment on the allegations.
LONDON + WIFE BACK TOGETHER
Actor JEREMY LONDON and his wife have reconciled after a messy end to 2008.
The former 7th Heaven star's wife, Melissa Cunningham, filed for a restraining order against her husband last August (08) after an alleged fight.
But, according to London's representative, the order never got to court and the pair is together again.
The rep disputes tabloid claims that Cunningham was granted a restraining order and a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered his client to stay away from Cunningham.
He says, "There was no order because the case never got to court. Jeremy and Melissa are very happy together."
London, 35, was slapped with a restraining order in 2004 after he was arrested for allegedly throwing his girlfriend out of his car at the side of a California freeway.
He and Cunningham were married in September 2006 and Cunningham gave birth to the couple's son Lyrik in 2007.
Career
London's first major television role was playing Nathan on the critically acclaimed 1991-1993 drama series I'll Fly Away. His brother Jason stepped in for Jeremy for the final episode of the show.
In 1997, he joined the cast of the hit Fox series Party Of Five, playing Griffin for three seasons, after serving as a recurring guest star. He then went on to play a young minister named Chandler Hampton on 7th Heaven from 2002 to 2004. His 7th Heaven character had a father with lung cancer, much like Jeremy's real-life family members. He has since been in many TV serials, TV movies and feature films.
He is also well known for playing T.S. Quint in Kevin Smith's second film Mallrats. He is also notable for never having appeared in another Smith movie, which is unusual for an actor who plays a main character in a Kevin Smith movie. When asked about this, Smith replied that he "just never had another use for him".[2] However, rumor has it that it was London's unreliability that prevented further collaborations. During the 10th anniversary Q&A of Mallrats, in which the two reunited, London admitted on being under the influence of marijuana throughout the filming of the movie, a fact that is also mentioned on the DVD commentary of the film. It is also said that London had much trouble memorizing his lines.

Personal Life
London was born in San Diego, California, the son of Debbie (née Osborn), a waitress, and Frank London, a sheet metal worker.[1] He was raised mainly in DeSoto, Texas. After divorcing their father, his mother moved the family 13 times in six years. His identical twin brother, Jason, is older by 27 minutes and is also an actor. Jeremy has worked mostly in television while Jason has opted for a career in feature films. The two have only acted alongside each other once - in the February 3, 2003 episode of the WB's 7th Heaven, entitled "Smoking". They have also competed for the same role - Jeremy's first audition was for a part in the 1991 film The Man in the Moon, which Jason got, leaving Jeremy the part of his brother's stunt double.
London's younger sister Dedre was killed in a car accident in 1992, leaving behind a baby son. Following the loss of family members to cancer of the lungs, he directed a documentary film/documentary about the hazards of smoking. He was arrested in the spring of 2004 for allegedly driving with a suspended license and for carrying controlled substances.
He currently resides in West Hills, California and is married to Melissa Cunningham with a son Lyrik London.

Born in San Diego, 27 minutes after Jason, Jeremy was raised in Oklahoma. His mother divorced their father when they were young. As the family's sole supporter, she moved them often until she finally located them a more permanent home in middle-class De Soto, a suburb of Dallas, TX, where he, his brother, and their younger sister Dedra London took acting classes. It was Jeremy who was first bitten by the acting bug while in high school. He made his film debut as a stunt double for his brother in The Man in the Moon (1990) and, from there, had bit parts in a couple other films. He had his first speaking role when he played a bit part in the made-for-TV feature In Broad Daylight (1991), which also marked the debut of sister Dedra in a small role. Later, Jeremy replaced his brother Jason in the role of Nathan in the critically acclaimed NBC television drama I'll Fly Away. Jason reclaimed the role in the PBS film version. Jeremy gained further experience in the briefly aired CBS series Angel Falls and in a trio of made-for-television movies. He had his first feature film role in The Babysitter, a taut direct-to-video drama starring Alicia Silverstone. On television, Jeremy is best known for playing the dangerously handsome Griffin on the Fox teen-oriented drama Party of Five. The part was originally meant as a short-term role, but when Griffin was written out of the show, outraged fans flooded producers with letters of protest. The producers listened and London became a cast regular. Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
